Italian Journal of Forest and Mountain Environments

A forest scientific journal of politics, economy and technics published by the Italian Academy of Forest Sciences.

The bi-monthly journal publishes scientific papers, technical notes, reviews, discussion papers in the field of forest science, forest economics and politics, with a special focus to Mediterranean and mountain environments. Scientific papers, reviews and technical notes undergo blind peer review process. The journal accepts contributions both in Italian and in English, and also the name of the journal is officially double. Published for the first time in 1946, since 2006 the Journal is open access and all the scientific papers are identified trough the DOI system at CrossRef (http://www.doi.org).
