Focus and Scope

The Italian Journal of Mountain and Forest Environments (L’Italia Forestale e Montana) is a scientific Journal published by the Italian Academy of Forest Sciences. The bi-monthly Journal publishes scientific articles and reviews, technical notes, letters, opinions, news and  book reviews in the fields of forest sciences and forest policies and economics, with special focus on Mediterranean and mountain environments.

The Journal is published since 1946, and since 2006 is available on-line at www.aisf.it/ifm within an open-access framework. The paper version of the Journal is sent by post to subscribers.

The Journal accepts manuscripts both in Italian or English.

Peer Review Process

The Journal adopts a double blind peer-review approach. The authors are not aware of the name of the reviewers and the reviewers are not aware of the name of the authors.

 

Publication Frequency

The Italian Journal of Forest and Mountain Environments is bimonthly. One volume per year contains six issues each.
